Boston Dynamics humanoid(ish) robot, Atlas, is probably better than you at jumping. Perhaps that is because they relied heavily on 3D printed parts.
The result, a very high strength to weight ratio. This gives Atlas the ability to roam farther, work harder and hunt humans... err stack boxes. Atlas' ability to jump an flip has disturbed a lot of people. It prompted Alex Medianas to tweet,"...We dead..." after seeing the video. Elon Musk followed up with a dire prediction for the future and calling on AI and robots to be regulated. The truth is that, while Atlas is cool, it is a long way from being the terminator, much less even half as capable as a human. When Atlas can beat a captcha and negotiate its way though burning man without malfunctioning. Then it might be time to worry.
The Atlas weighs in at 165lbs (75Kg) and a height of approximately 4'9" (1.5 meters). For more info check out Boston Dynamics site.
